Subaru recently announced pricing for the 2019 Impreza and prospective consumers will be happy to hear that the new model gets a modest increase of $125 over last year’s model.
The entry-level Impreza 2.0i Sedan costs $19,480, which includes destination. The same model from last year started at $19,355. The Impreza 5-Door hatchback carries a starting price tag of $19,980, which is also an increase of $125 from last year, and represents a $500 step up from the sedan body style.
Not a lot has changed for the 2019 model year, besides a minor bump in fuel economy. The range-topping Impreza Limited now comes with Subaru’s EyeSight system as standard, as well as reverse automatic emergency braking and high-beam assist. EyeSight includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The suite of advanced safety features is available on lower trims with the continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Power for the Impreza lineup still comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. The motor is paired to a five-speed manual transmission as standard on base models, while the CVT is an additional $1,000 and standard on 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Limited models. Symmetrical all-wheel drive is still standard, too.
