1948 Packard Super Eight victoria convertible – Hemmings Find of the Day

From the seller’s description:

It was my grandmother’s car. which she restored in the ’80s, parked it under a carport and used it very little. I acquired it and started restoring it again a couple of years ago.

Since I’ve had it, most everything you can’t see has been replaced or refurbished. The transmission has been rebuilt with the overdrive and electromatic clutch working without issue. All the hydraulic cylinders have been replaced, which allows all the power windows, power top, and power seat to work. The gauges have all been replaced and work. I did not, however, replace the clock or AM radio. The fuel tank and radiator have been cleaned and tested. I put new tires, a new wiring harness and lots of other parts on since I’ve had it.

The exterior could use some attention. The paint and top are from the ’80s. The top needs to be replaced, and the paint has faded, with chips.

The car is in excellent working condition, but visually needs some help.
