That’s made evident in this dashcam video of a forceful rollover crash suffered by a team in their Skoda 130LR during the 2016 Podbrdská Rally Legend in the Czech republic. Rallying, even at the amateur level, carries a risk of crashing that simply isn’t there in other forms of weekend racing.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt in this barrel roll, though the car clearly took some heavy damage. The dashcam also survived—and brought us this surreal point of view as it landed in the grass and watched the car fly over it.
