Yes, the Ferrari 488 Spider Can Fly

We already know the new Ferrari 488 Spider is fast. With a 0-60 time of just three seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph, it’s easily one of Ferrari’s quickest production cars yet. What we didn’t know, though, is that the boys at Maranello equipped the 488 with another neat feature: flight.

No, it doesn’t have extendable wings (it makes due with clever fixed body panels and air channels), nor does it have a crazy jet propulsion engine. What it does have, though, is 661 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque coming from its twin-turbo 3.9-liter V8. With all that power, a brave enough driver can make the 488 do pretty much anything.

Take a look for yourself.
